Solidarité Jeunes asbl is a non-profit organisation whose mission is to design, develop, implement and manage activities related to children, young people and families. It provides support to children, adolescents, young adults and families facing various difficulties. Its work focuses primarily on promoting education, social inclusion, family integration, and the physical and mental well-being of those it supports.
The association is politically and religiously neutral. Its services and activities are available to everyone, regardless of nationality, ethnic origin, political or religious beliefs, gender or sexual orientation.
Haus 13 consists of two complementary services: the Family Service and the Psychological Service. These services may be accessed independently or in combination, depending on the needs of the individual or family.
Family counsellors and psychologists provide outpatient support to children, adolescents, young adults and families. Haus 13 operates through six local centres across Luxembourg, each offering both services.
All requests for support must be approved by the National Children's Office (Office National de l'Enfance – ONE), which also covers most of the costs associated with the support provided.
