          The green roof

          At a time when bees are becoming scarce and energy is more expensive, the green roof offers new perspectives in terms of energy, architecture and the environment. The principle: to cover your roof of selected plants to benefit from a real thermal and sound insulation natural, respectful of the environment. And aesthetically, it's magic!

          As part of the construction of a low energy house, or renovation, some technical rules are required.

          Plant roofs can be grown in many ways: by sowing, in plantations, in box or rolls pre-cultivated for an immediate aesthetic rendering. Choose sturdy plants that will brave the wind and the sun more easily, and can quickly form a natural environment such as mosses and perennials.
          Aesthetically, the green roof is a marvel! It changes colors every season and reintroduces Nature into an urban context. A real lung in the city, to reduce pollution through photosynthesis of plants and provide a refuge for birds and bees.

          For you too it's a real breath of fresh air, since the green roofs offer real thermal and acoustic performances.
          The green earth effectively absorbs sound waves ... exit the parasitic noise of the urban jungle.
          The vegetal mantle also allows significant energy savings by keeping the roof temperature between 15 and 20 ° C. More insulating than tiles or slates, the temperature is regulated to have less heat in summer, and softer in winter. True anti-UV film, the vegetal carpet ensures in addition a longer lifespan to your roof, and knock!
          So yes it stings the wallet a bit, but the green roof is a win-win investment. In the end your bank account will tell you thank you, and the birds too!
