To keep the children (but also the big ones) waiting until December 25, it is high time to think about acquiring an advent calendar. This year, why not make it yourself? We give you some tips to create it and share a fun activity with your family!
For ease, you can opt for small bags or envelopes . Until then, from basic, this material is easily findable. To beautify everything, give free rein to your imagination : stencils, stamps, glitter, stickers, paint, ribbons, etc. Everything is allowed ! A detail is also not to neglect: record on each container the date on which it must be opened.
Afterwards, you can hang the bags or envelopes to a picture frame, or simply to a string through clothespins.
If you like DIY , you can add to the difficulty and make a wooden advent calendar , which will take the shape you want (a rectangular shape, the shape of a tree, etc.). You can then arrange your little presents.
Just about everything you want: chocolates and other treats, small toys , make-up for the biggest, good for a family outing, sweet words, ... The goal is not to discover every day until Christmas a gigantic surprise, but good to deceive the wait until D-day . On December 25, however, the last day of the Advent calendar, you can drag a slightly larger gift.
Everything depends on the place you have but again, no constraint: it can be in the kitchen, in the living room or in the child's room. It can also be integrated into your Christmas decoration and take place, for example, not far from the tree.
