About ALEBA

ALEBA is a strong and powerful union which defends effectively and constructively, since more than 95 years, the interests of financial sector employees. We have to confront a lot of challenges in the last years: financial crisis, restructuring, relocation and redundancy schemes. ALEBA and its members face them together and so can bring sufficient pressure to bear to ensure success.

As the largest union in the financial sector, ALEBA is officially the representative union and is therefore authorized to negotiate and sign collective agreements for banking and insurance sector employees on its own. The collective agreement for insurance company employees follows in the footsteps of the banking CEA and guarantees insurance sector employees terms and conditions far in excess of legal minimums.

ALEBA is in favour and aims to improve social dialogue in the companies. To ALEBA, trust and respect are the basis of any employee-employer relationship.

Our trade union is free and independent of any political party and our decisions are taken freely without suffering any political pressure. Only monthly membership fees finance ALEBA, which can therefore lay claim to unchallenged credibility.
You too, join the largest financial sector union and, thanks to your support, we are able to safeguard your professional interests, improve your work life and your working conditions.

You will also receive free legal assistance in the event of a dispute with your employer or the social security bodies, as well as the support of our experts in the event of work-related problems or tax issues.

Specifically, ALEBA offers its members the following services for a monthly subscription of € 9.50:
- Legal advice
- Legal assistance
- Training
- Regular information about our activities through our newsletter ALEBA Info
- Subject guides
