Agence eSanté is responsible for facilitating the secure sharing and exchange of patients’ health data among the healthcare professionals involved in their care pathway.
In accordance with Articles 60ter and 60quater of the Social Security Code, it ensures the optimal use of information within the healthcare and medico-social sectors, with the aim of strengthening coordination and improving the quality of patient care.
Interoperability is a key element in medical and care services: it enables multiple actors to exchange and interpret health information in a consistent manner. As such, Agence eSanté plays a central role in ensuring continuity of care and guaranteeing that a patient’s medical information remains clear, coherent, and understandable throughout their care journey.
Among its flagship services are the Electronic Healthcare Record (DSP) and the Electronic Vaccination Record (CVE)
