Sophrologist qualified by the European Federation of Sophrology (2001), first therapist qualified in IMO level 2 in Luxembourg, listed in the official reference directory of the Académie Impact (Canada).
Created in 1960 by the neuro-psychiatrist Alfonso Caycedo, sophrology (from the Greek Sos - harmony and Phren - spirit) was born from the combination of different medicines, traditions and cultures from East and West. Sophrology is a mind-body therapy that combines dynamic relaxation methods and personal development exercises to restore harmony of body and mind, the key to balance.
By learning sophronic relaxation, sophrology aims, among other things, to develop the ability to listen attentively and sympathetically to oneself. Becoming aware of your sensations in a state of deep relaxation allows you to relax both physically and mentally, to let go, which, by the end of the session, allows you to regain your full capacities, and to “relax” both your muscles and nerves.
Sophrology also develops the ability to create mental images and visualise situations and sensations that can be reproduced over and over again. It thus leads to the possibility of achieving a permanent state of self-control. STRATdeCOM - S2C Sàrl
