          Usage checks

          That's it, you made an appointment with the seller to test the bike that attracts you. On D-Day, before leaving for a ride with, inspect it down to the last detail.           A healthy engine

          This part is the most complex. However, you can easily notice the absence of mechanical noise and fast rattling.

          Tires and brakes at the top

          The bike you want to buy must be fit to hit the road without you having to pay too much.  Check their general condition and spoke tension.

          It is also important to check the alignment of the wheels . To do this, wheel before lifting, check the absence of hard points by turning the handlebars.

          For brakes, watch for pad wear and condition of the discs . If they are very lightly scratched, it is not dramatic. On the other hand, if you put your finger on the outer circumference, you feel a bead is that they are worn and, therefore, to replace as soon as possible.

          Track down any leak

          Under the engine, try to identify oil leaks . Also check the shock and fork as leaks may also occur. Thus, it is imperative that the dive tubes are dry.

          Equipment in working order

          Check the operation of the parking lights, dipped beam, high beam, stop lamp, turn signal, buzzer, and headlamp call. Note that if the passage between the low beam and road is not immediate, it means that the battery of the bike begins to tire.

          At the controls, check the throttle grips, brake, and fluid level .

          Once all of these elements have been verified, it's up to you to make a decision. If you have any doubt, run away! Better to postpone a purchase rather than having any problems in the future ... Because the good occasion must really be one!
