          manger sans grossir au restaurant

When his job involves going to the restaurant almost every day, it seems complicated to keep the line! Still, there are some tips to avoid extra pounds! Editus tells you everything!

          Some foods to avoid ...

As many vegetables as you want

When the moment comes to choose the accompaniment of its dish, it is difficult to resist fries and pasta. In moderation, you can eat from time to time.

The rest of the time, favor a good plate of fresh and seasonal vegetables . By cons, when ordering, ask the server if, for example, they have not been returned in butter.

If you can not go without starch, opt for baked potatoes, which are a good alternative to calorique gratin Dauphinois.

          Not too much salt

Avoid adding salt to the food you eat at the restaurant, as cooks generally tend to salt the food they prepare.

          Salad, yes but ...

If the salad seems like a "light" choice, think again: accompanied by oil, vinaigrette, croutons of bread, pieces of bacon or cheese, it can quickly become a bomb caloric .

So be careful before making your choice, look at the composition of the dish. Also check with the server if salad dressing and oil can be made separately.

          Do not eat too much

Do not force yourself to finish your plate if you are no longer hungry. Moreover, if you have little appetite, see with the server if it is possible to have your dish in reduced portion . If that's impossible, then ask if you can take home the food you have not eaten.

During your meal, take the time to chew and savor each bite . By doing this, you will more easily feel the feeling of fullness, and stop eating at the right time.

          The ideal menu

Take an entry is not required. But if you take one, go for a salad or raw vegetables . However, as said above, beware of the vinaigrette that accompanies them.

Your main course should consist of protein (meat, fish or eggs), cooked or raw vegetables , as well as starchy foods (pasta, rice, potatoes, quinoa, etc.). Be careful, they must occupy less than a third of your plate.

For dessert, go for fresh fruit salads , sorbets , and white cheeses . If you are no longer hungry, you may end your meal with unsweetened coffee or tea.

          Drink side

To keep the line, nothing better than water. Avoid sodas and alcohol , even if from time to time you can crack for a glass of wine.

Freshjuices and vegetable juices are a good alternative to water.

          Time to time

It is sometimes essential to have fun and eat what you really want , without thinking of calories. A good piece of beef with fries, or a fluffy chocolate, is good from time to time ... but not every day!
