          About I LOVE GRAFFITI

I Love Graffiti is a Luxembourg-based non-profit organisation dedicated to graffiti, street art and urban culture. Through events, workshops, exhibitions and artistic projects, the organisation contributes to the development and visibility of urban art in Luxembourg, while creating opportunities for artists and the public to meet and connect.

Driven in particular by SADER, an artist and key figure within the organisation, I Love Graffiti promotes graffiti as a genuine form of artistic and cultural expression. Colours, murals, style writing and lettering give writers and artists different ways to transform urban spaces.

The organisation showcases local and international artists through live performances, mural creations, meetings and various events. These projects allow the public to discover the diversity of styles and practices that shape today's graffiti culture and, more broadly, hip-hop culture.

          Le Mur Luxembourg

One of the organisation's flagship projects is Le Mur Luxembourg, a recurring artistic event held approximately every two months.

The concept revolves around a dedicated wall that regularly becomes a new artist's creative space. Each intervention results in a new mural, turning the location into a living and constantly evolving artistic space.

These temporary creations highlight a variety of artistic worlds, techniques and styles. Luxembourgish and international artists are invited to take over the wall and present their own interpretation of urban art.

Each edition of Le Mur Luxembourg also provides an opportunity for artists and the public to meet, particularly during opening events, where visitors can discover the new artwork and meet the artist behind it.

Back to the Books – Graffiti Battle

With Back to the Books, I Love Graffiti celebrates another essential aspect of graffiti culture: the graffiti battle.

During the event, artists and writers compete artistically through live performances. Style writing, creativity, technique, colour and visual identity are at the heart of these encounters.

The audience can experience the creative process live and see how each artist develops their own distinctive style during the battle.

Back to the Books is both an artistic event and a meeting place dedicated to graffiti and hip-hop culture. It brings together artists, enthusiasts and curious visitors around a shared passion for urban artistic expression.

          Workshops, Education & Team Building

I Love Graffiti also offers workshops dedicated to graffiti and street art.

These workshops provide an accessible and guided introduction to the world of graffiti, including its history and codes, style writing, lettering, colours, techniques and the creation of an original artwork.

This educational approach turns graffiti into a valuable tool for art education, exchange and knowledge sharing.

Workshops can also be organised as team-building activities, where participants work together on a shared creative project. Creating a mural collectively encourages creativity, communication and team spirit.

          Exhibitions, Murals & Artistic Encounters

Beyond its events, I Love Graffiti contributes to the creation of murals and street art projects throughout Luxembourg and Luxembourg City.

The organisation also hosts exhibitions, opening events, workshops and artistic encounters, giving the public the opportunity to meet artists, discover their work and gain a better understanding of the many forms of urban art.

Through its walls, events and collaborations, I Love Graffiti builds connections between artists, residents and urban spaces.

Its goal is to keep graffiti culture in Luxembourg alive, support artists and provide new spaces for expression, creation and encounters around street art and urban culture.
