Our office was founded in 1988 by Jean Theisen, an engineer and architect who graduated from the University of Innsbruck (Austria). Jean Theisen managed the office from 1988 to 2018. He was keen to use timber as a structural material. Our eco-friendly timber construction projects include school and sports complexes, as well as timber-framed residential buildings up to four storeys high.
The firm was taken over by Laurent Fischer (a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Nancy), Benjamin Walther (also a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Nancy) and Fabien Bednarek (a graduate of the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Architecture de Strasbourg), all members of the OAI. Their objectives are to preserve the knowledge acquired and ensure the continuity of the architecture of the Theisen Architectes office.
Construction, renovation, extension, residential complexes, single-family homes, commercial and industrial buildings, schools and sports centres: we carry out a wide range of projects.
