Société Electrique de l’Our (SEO) is committed to a secure and sustainable energy supply. In Vianden, SEO operates one of Europe’s most powerful pumped-storage power plants. It plays a crucial role in stabilizing the highvoltage grid and ensuring secure crossborder electricity supply.
In addition, SEO operates its own run-of-river power plants in Luxembourg, Germany, and France, generating sustainable and efficient electricity from hydropower. Wind energy represents the third major pillar. Through Soler and various shareholdings, SEO significantly contributes to wind power generation in Luxembourg — supporting an independent and forward-looking energy supply.
