Halloween: ideas to decorate your home!
To celebrate Halloween as it should be and make your home a horror movie, here are some decor ideas!
If there is one place you absolutely need to decorate, it's the entrance to your door ! This is the first thing your guests will see if you are having a party, just like the kids who come to your house to ask for treats.
For this, nothing like the traditional pumpkin , which still has its effect. To turn it into a lantern, nothing very complicated! Before anything else, it is better to favor pumpkins of high size and whose diameter is too small : this will make your cutting job much simpler.
At first, cut the top of your cucurbits and empty them of their contents. Then bring a pen or marker to draw the lines you want to give them, then grab a knife and cut out the shapes.
It remains to place a candle in each of them. The trick in addition : prefer LED candles , which will not go out at the slightest gust of wind.
You can also choose to paint your pumpkins in black or silver , thanks to color bombs easily found in leisure stores. For a nice look, consider taking pumpkins of different sizes and shapes.
A scary interior
To decorate your furniture , there are simple tips : to put white sheets on it is one of them. If it sounds basic, it will look like your home is haunted. You can also add some fake spiders . And why not make them yourself? In black card stock, cut out : to make it easier, you will have drawn them in pencil first. Once cut, make a small hole at the bottom of their body : you will be able to pass a string and hang them anywhere.
Another easy idea to make: garnish your pieces with black and orange balloons , which will recall the colors of this American holiday.
A table of terror
On a tablecloth, which you have chosen black, you will be able to ask some decorations that will impress your guests!
Buy white candles , different sizes : to create a bloody effect, take a red or burgundy candle, which you will melt on top of it. You will have the impression that they are covered with blood.
Under a glass bell, place a black bird , similar to a raven ! False birds are on sale at leisure or decoration stores, you should not have trouble finding at this time of year. If you can not catch a bird of this color, you can paint it yourself with a bomb.
In a glass vase filled with water, plunge a cauliflower ... The reason ? The vegetable bathed in the liquid will give the impression of being a brain in formalin . How to get there ? Remove all the leaves from the cauliflower and then bring a red felt pen with which you will draw fine lines. Then place it in a large quantity of water, so that it is completely covered. Guaranteed effect !
