Every year towards the end of September or beginning of October, the Ministry of Housing and Luxexpo the Box are organizing a fair where are found in the same place all the actors of the housing market: architects, promoters, brokers, banks, real estate agencies, insurance, decorators ... Many professionals are at your disposal to answer your questions, find interesting offers or just allow you to have a glimpse of this environment around sometimes a little opaque. From renting, to buying housing, to loans or the inventory of properties available in Luxembourg, everything is there! It is therefore a very complete event, which will allow you to find answers to all your needs.
Another date to remember : earlier in the year, in May , the Spring Fair , which is a broader event - there are in particular stalls dedicated to fashion or gastronomy - but still devotes an important space to housing . If you are about to move in, you will mostly find information about garden or pool amenities.
Finally, more locally,the living room Urban Living is dedicated to the real estate of Differdange , third city of the Grand Duchy. For three days in March, banks, builders, real estate agencies or representatives of the municipality come to present their offers and their projects to help you find a home that meets your desires!
Dates to rememberfor improving your home
When you are a homeowner, you also want to be able to update your home, by renovating it, adding rooms or adapting it to new ecological standards. For that, nothing better than to go to the Home and Living Expo, which takes place in October.
If you want to makealayout , or just want a little inspiration for your decor , here you will find more than 300 exhibitors : craftsmen, architects, companies specialized in "connected" homes, experts in sustainable housing ... More than 34,000 m² of possibilities that you just have to walk to find ideas. The lounge is also attractive for the whole family thanks to its five thematic pavilions that allow you to move from the Lego space for children to a space reserved for crafts. This is the largest exhibition dedicated to housing.
Second date to keep in mind if you want to find inspirations or answers to renovate your home: Myenergie days in April. Quite recent, this fair is dedicated to sustainable housing and energy sanitation of housing. Its advantage is that it is a real platform for exchanges between consumers and professionals, allowing to know more in a field sometimes too little known.
The exhibition is divided into four main areas: a space dedicated to the building envelope (how to isolate durably for example), a second devoted to building techniques (ventilation, heating ...), a third to services and finally a last meetings. What will allow you to have an interesting overview of the field and, why not, to think for yourself about the possibility of a "green house".
