Île aux Clowns ASBL – Hospital Clowns & Social Support in Luxembourg
Founded in July 2013 and recognized as a public-interest organization in September 2015, Île aux Clowns ASBL brings specially trained hospital clowns to people in pain or distress, regardless of age — hospitalized children, adults in rehabilitation, elderly residents in care homes, as well as refugee children and families.
Our mission:
To offer moments of joy, attentive listening, and well-being through free visits carried out in coordination with the staff of each institution.
Every month, we visit more than 30 facilities across Luxembourg. Our projects — Bringing Smiles to Children in Hospitals, Listening to the Elderly, and Supporting Refugee Children and Adults — reflect our ongoing commitment to emotional and social care.
Thanks to donations and community support, every visit becomes a moment of lightness and humanity.
