Fabeck Architectes, a private limited company, was founded in 2012, but its activity has existed since 1996 under the name Tatiana Fabeck Architecte. The office is located at 1, rue du Château in Koerich.
The firm currently employs a team of 27 people, including 16 architects, 2 interior architects, 4 draftsmen, 2 architect-urban planners, 1 office manager, 1 consultant, and 1 secretary-receptionist.
The office is competitive in the fields of architecture, urban planning, rehabilitation and renovation, interior architecture, and design. It is also very active in participating in numerous national and international competitions, which have led to the realization of many projects.
It has solid experience in the design, development, and execution of complex and large-scale programs, accommodating various types of functions and meeting environmental certifications. Our team has site experience, coordination skills for small and large-scale works, as well as knowledge of Luxembourg legislation.
Internally, we also have a department dedicated to spatial planning, working on various urban development projects, and we are therefore well-versed in all related regulations.
Today, the importance of energy performance has also led us to become certified passive house designers.
Our BIM-based working process for project development allows us—beyond the competition stage—to accurately identify all project parameters and, above all, to model the entire infrastructure while integrating engineers’ 3D plans. Beyond drawing, BIM enables early-stage budget control in relation to quantities and materials used.
The migration of our office to a BIM environment (Autodesk Revit) since 2012, progressively replacing 2D (AutoCAD), allows—thanks to the 3D digital model of a project and the integration of structural and MEP data into this model—to identify critical points at a very early stage (collisions between architecture, building services, and structure) and resolve them as soon as possible.
The digital model also enables quantity data extraction for tender documentation and project budgeting. We can integrate material types, prices, technical data sheets, and all relevant project information directly into the single BIM file, which can of course be exported in the universal IFC format for use in other software (Archicad, Allplan, etc.).
