          About Ecole Régionale de Musique Grevenmacher

          Regional School of Music for the Grevenmacher Region, serving the region of Grevenmacher, including the municipalities of Grevenmacher, Biwer, Betzdorf, Mertert/Wasserbillig, Wormeldange, Flaxweiler, Lenningen, Manternach, as well as the neighboring German region.


          The Regional School of Music Grevenmacher offers courses for (almost) all ages, in all musical disciplines:

          • For children from 6 to 36 months accompanied by a parent: parent-child groups.
          • From 4 to 6 years: early childhood music education and early dance education.
          • From the age of 5: it is already possible to learn a wide range of instruments (recorder, flute, oboe, clarinet, saxophone, trumpet, French horn, trombone, classical percussion, classical guitar, violin, cello).
          • From the age of 7: “Music Theory” (compulsory secondary subject for all instruments).
          • From the age of 7: classical dance.
          • From the age of 7: theatre education.
          • From the age of 7: piano and keyboard, as well as “Choral Training” (singing lessons for children aged 7 to 14) and “Theatre Education” (drama classes for children aged 7 to 14).
          • From the age of 9: contemporary (modern) dance.
          • From the age of 12: electronic instruments are added: electric guitar, electric bass, drums, keyboard, acoustic guitar, as well as bass clarinet and alto clarinet.
          • From the age of 14: “Speaker Education” (diction) in German and Luxembourgish.
          • From the age of 15: singing, both classical and modern (musical and rock/pop).


          Of course, all courses are also open to teenagers and adults.
