For more than 30 years, the Conservatoire of the City of Luxembourg has been located in its magnificent building at the Geesseknäppchen.
Around 3,800 students are regularly enrolled at the Conservatoire (with about 80 nationalities represented), and 170 teachers and lecturers teach more than 140 different subjects in the fields of music, dance, and drama.
In addition to their classes, students have the opportunity to participate in more than 20 orchestras, ensembles, and choirs.
The Conservatoire benefits from modern architecture, and its spiral-shaped design makes it an original, spacious, and functional building, ideally suited to hosting even the most ambitious events.
The institution also manages a prestigious auditorium, whose acoustics have already captivated many world-renowned artists, including Bernhard Haitink, Mstislav Rostropovich, Martha Argerich, Felicity Lott, and Lazar Berman, to name just a few of the most legendary.
