The purpose of the CDME is to promote collegiality among teachers in the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg by granting, in the event of the death of a full member, financial compensation to his/her survivors or other beneficiaries.
Membership of the society, either as a full member or as an honorary member, entitles the member to join all the existing or future institutions of the Mutuelle luxembourgeoise.
