ADR (Alternative Democratic Reform Party) is a Luxembourgish political party founded in 1987 under the name “Action Committee for a 5/6 Pension for Everyone.” Its initial goal was to defend the rights of retirees and secure fair pensions.
It first took part in the legislative elections in 1989, achieving notable success that allowed it to establish a presence on the national political scene.
Over the years, the party has broadened its program to include topics such as taxation, family policies, national sovereignty, and responsible governance, while maintaining a conservative and reformist stance. ADR is particularly committed to defending traditional values and protecting Luxembourgish citizens’ interests in the face of economic and social challenges.
On May 12, 2022, ADR celebrated its 35th anniversary, marking more than three decades of political activity in Luxembourg. Today, it continues to sit in the Chamber of Deputies and play an active role in democratic debate, focusing on transparency, social justice, and intergenerational solidarity.
