The organization of the Administration of Public Buildings (ABP) is determined by the competencies granted to it by the law of March 8, 2017, amending the law of June 15, 2004.
It is mainly responsible for the study and execution of new public buildings financed by the State, including their equipment and surrounding landscaping; for the study and implementation of transformation, extension, and rehabilitation works of public buildings; as well as for the establishment and management of maintenance programs for public buildings, their equipment, surroundings, and plantings.
The administration is managed by the directorate, under which the New Works Division, the Heritage Management Division, and the Workshops Service are subordinate.
