          The municipality of Mondercange comprises the towns of: Mondercange, Bergem, Foetz and Pontpierre. On the 1st of November 2025 the municipality had a population of 7,299. 

          Mondercange is located in the south of the Grand Duchy, close to the town of Esch-sur-Alzette and 5 km of the French border.
