          About LuxEnergie SA

In order to promote Energy Contracting based on combined heat and power (CHP) generation, the company LuxEnergie was founded on July 19, 1990.

Since its creation, LuxEnergie has been active in the design, financing, construction, and operation of energy plants based on cogeneration, as well as in the production of heat from alternative energy sources.

Since then, more than 50 projects have been designed, implemented, and managed by LuxEnergie.

LuxEnergie is one of the main players in the field of Energy Contracting in Luxembourg. Thanks to its advanced know-how and service-oriented approach, the company offers customized, turnkey solutions that go far beyond traditional energy supply.

          Services

Energy Contracting refers to a service concept in which one or more buildings are supplied—by a third party—with heat, cooling, and/or backup electricity. The energy is provided by the service provider.

The client only pays for the amount of energy—measured by meters—that is actually consumed in the building.

The services offered by LuxEnergie within the framework of Energy Contracting include:

          • Planning costs for the technical concept
          • Investment costs for the construction of the plant
          • Delivery and installation of the transfer station to the building
          • Energy costs for electricity, gas, fuel oil, and water
          • Maintenance, monitoring, and proper operation of the installation
          • Refurbishment, i.e., all repairs during the contract period
          • Continuous monitoring of the installation, day and night
          • 24-hour emergency service for potential incidents
