The Stëmm vun der Strooss (engl. Voice of the Street) is a non-profit organisation that welcomes and supports disadvantaged people, people who are homeless, unemployed, living on a minimum wage, ex-criminals, asylum seekers, immigrants and people who suffer from addictions such as alcoholism, drug or medication addiction.
The Schweesdrëps is a sheltered workplace employing 36 job seekers who wash 4 000 uniforms of 35 different sports clubs. The uniforms are picked up, washed, sorted and redelivered every week. Any time it is needed, the people working in professional reintegration measures here also offer to sewing and mending services.
