Let's explore together artists, who have treated design and architecture in different ways through their art. The starting point is a tour through Leonor Antunes’ exhibition at the Henry J. and Erna D. Leir Pavilion, whose sculptures draw inspiration fromdesign and the surrounding architecture. After, we will go to the studio, look at art history and through practical workshops, we will experiment with our own designs. Within the framework of the exhibition William Kentridge. More Sweetly Play the Dance
Let's explore together artists, who have treated the subject of the Gesamtkunstwerk in their creation in different ways. The starting point is a tour through William Kentridge’s exhibition, where different techniques, disciplines and mediums are used to create an ideal artwork, that encompasses the visitor with all his senses. After that, we will go to the studio, where we return to the history of art, and through practical workshops, we will define our own interpretation of a Gesamtkunstwerk.
